ABOUT HENRIETTA
Henrietta Jordan is a contemporary British landscape painter working in oil. Her paintings arise from a deep, visceral response to her physical environment, notably to changing light, seasons and atmosphere. Henrietta’s work has a distinct energy to it, and bridges the gap between abstraction and figuration, offering a fresh, dynamic perspective on traditional landscape painting, always with a palpable sense of mood and place.
At the core of her practice is an attempt to portray reality in a way that liaises not with literal representation, but with feeling and memory.
